    Normal to be very hungry?

I assume that today classifies as "pre-labour".

A show last night, woken by cramps, a bigger show mid morning and crampy all day.

I've also been insatiably hungry...I dont usually even get hungry - especially the last few days because my tummy has felt so squished and full.

Is body wanting extra fuel to start labour?

I bloody well hope so...this is getting tedious!

Or does just being crampy burn up extra cals?

I am at the point where walking is rather painful...I don't feel "heavier" downstairs as such, but my bum, back, hips etc etc are all suddenly very sore.

    Ho Hum...waiting...waiting...

I ate a TONNE less than 24 hours before giving birth. The tuesday night I had a massive dinner. I didn't feel like eating on The weds, and I had DD on Weds night. Could mean something, but might not. I say.... you're pregnant! Give into your cravings.

    best of luck!

Yep, I went through a small truckload of food prior to the onset of labour. Body just starts squeezing it in to every available space for the energy I think..
