I am due tomorrow! I've been getting these sharp feelings down below, its like the baby has little knives or knitting needles and is trying to scrape his way out! Needless to say it isn't the most pleasant feeling in the world.
When I spoke to my midwife last week she said that this was my cervix dilating... I just wondered if anyone could elaborate on this, I have never heard or dilation feeling like that before!?
Wow how exciting you're so close! No info on that specifically onyl to say that I had this feeling with DS for about 3 days before they induced me... not pleasant at all.
Hope you have a great birth and that its nice and quick for you!
I don't have any specific info either except to say that in the last few weeks I had a similar type pain and was told it was bub putting pressure on nerves as she was getting herself into position.
