Geranium, lavender and clary sage.
You can't use candle oil burners due to safety and some wont let you take electrical appliances unless they are tested.
Due to beingin labour with DD in an ambulance for 1.5hrs i didnt get the chance to use any alternative medical (or any pain relief for that matter) and i would really like to try to have the option this time around....
So what aromatherpay would you suggest?
Would really love something DH can use to massage with and also burn in the room?

mmm how long does the testing take i wonder,.,......
kelly - do you know where i can buy this mixed?
You can make it up yourself, you just need to buy a carrier base (vege oil like almond, avocado oil) and find out the ratio for the oils. Citrus are good for 'uplifting' for times you need that little bit more energy. Have a chat with an aromatherapist and they could make you one up too
There are also some great homeopathics for labour too.

NoneI bought a $25 bottle of clary sage that I forgot about! It's yours if you want it?
Sarah that would be wonderful! ill pm you!
I had lavender, but my labour was so quick I never used it either. I use it now to spray around the house in a spray bottle mixed with some water.
we have the lavender i bought for #1 with the electric burner in the bathroom for when DD is bathing.. to help relax her.. but will throw the bottle in my bag too i think!
