im 37 weeks.....today i have had slight diareaha..i have vomited...feel cold and a bit shakey....i have had a constant hard sore stomach all day....its really painful...tho its not on and off and increasing...it just constant....its hard all over and really tight.......it hurts up the top near my boobs as well......baby isnt real active.......slight period pain...a little back pain.....and i just feel off.......
Ow. Generally when you call the hospital, they want to know if the pain is coming in waves...they'll want to know about bowel movements (for example, the diarrhoea probably means you're not constipated, though I suppose it could be wind, or gastro), they'll want to know if you've felt bub move.
To me, the hard tummy, back pain, nausea, slight cramping sounds a bit like labour...but frustratingly, it also sounds like other things like wind or gastro or Braxton Hicks', and they'll probably just tell you to wait. No harm in calling the hospital though, but yeah...it's annoying but you'll probably just have to wait and see if and how things progress. Hope it's labour over gastro though! xo
It sounds like you might have a tummy bug, which could be irritating your uterus a little. When you say bub hasn't been real active, are you feeling any good kicks? If not then it could be worth a trip to hospital just to make sure everything is ok. But let them know you might have gastro as you will be fairly contagious at the moment.
Well i seem to be alright this morning, felt a bit sick this morning but i think it was some morning sickness as i have had it for a week or so............my stomach is still hard and sore this morning but i havent gone to the toilet again....i am feeling baby move or push but i dont think she has much room in there so she is a little quiet but still moving..if it gets worse ill ring the ob
Hi Melster - I am at almost exactly same stage as you and apart from the vomiting I have been feeling the same. I have just put it down to stomach issues which seem to fluctuate between diarrhea and constipation which seems to be the norm for me during pregnancy, and the sickness feeling seems to be hunger related, in that I wake up feeling sick in the night and in the morning but eat something and that sorts it out - although I think all the eating is giving me wind issues. The feeling up top is it to one side? - mine is on the right - something is digging my ribs or something - it feels like I need to be put on one of those racks and stretched out. Monday night I felt so off I thought might be start of labor but has settled down a bit now and think I just need to try make sure keep going to the toilet.
Anyway I feel your pain - ring the OB if it doesn't improve at all.
