What does baby need for hsp stay...

I'm having a c-section and have packed clothes for me but I have no idea how much & what to pack for baby. I've been told to expect to be in hsp for 4 -5 days... Would it be one growth suit a day or two? singlets? I so cant remember what to take and would love to know how much to take

I took several changes a day and glad I did as I had a supper pooper from the start who went through several outfits a day I got DH to take them home to wash though.

It depends on the hospital, some provide clothes for babies.
Do you need to take nappies or are they provided, and if they are is it a limited amount so you need to take your own anyway?

If you are not too far from the hospital would take 2-3 outfits per day for a couple of days, and send someone home to wash them in between

Don't take anything you aren't prepared to lose because it would not be the first time it's been lost in the hospital linen service

I went with 5 wondersuits, 5 singlets, 1 nightie, 1 hat, 1 going home oufit and 5 blankets of varying thickness. I was only in for 40 hours, so it was waaaay too much, but for a longer stay it's about right. If you do have a super pooper, or a spewy louie (like mine) you can always send stuff home to be washed.
