    What else can I do?!

I'm due tomorro, had my OB appt this morning. She said my cervix is all ready, extremely stretchy, she can fit a finger in and could DEF break my waters, now I've had blood, cramps which she said was normal. Because I'm high risk from a blood clot with my first, induced the first 2 times I can't but help think I can't actually go into labour by myself im booked in for inducement next wednesday shuld nothing happen as i need to get back on my blood thinning medication which ive stopped to hopefully go into labour... I'm so worried next Wednesday Will come... I had a full day of contractions last Saturday, so many early labour signs what else can I do exactly... Ergh I'm so down in the dumps about it...

What can I do to help things along??? I've been walking around the shopping mall since 10, clary sage oil, drinking pineapple, RLT, will reluctantly DTD tonight... Anything else???

A friend of mine swears by jasmine oil massaged around your ankles. Reflexology?
    Bouncing on a fit ball?

Wednesday you will only be at 41 weeks. Some Mums naturally gestate for 42 weeks or more. Stop pressuring yourself and let your body do its thing. All those contractions are your body getting ready. Relax your mind and your body.

Hotl I can't go that far overdue because of the medication I've fort so hard not to be induced, I have to compromise with next Wednesday... Might try the jasmine oil. I'd did do Acupuncture but my BP kept dropping and I nearly passed out so I thought I shuld just try and see if I went naturally...

There's honestly nothing you can do, unless your body is ready to go. I would suggest letting go of the mental blocks you seem to be carrying (stressing out about labour and not even at your due date), try visualising your body opening up and meditating every day.

Kinda agree. I tried everything to get DS out before my induction date and it didn't work. I wish I'd spent the time on the lounge watching movies, eating m&ms and relaxing (my poor body and my mind)

LWhat PZ and Helle have said.. Relax and have some me time. Enjoy a movie, enjoy a game with your other two, start reading a new book (For me, the second I started a new book I would go into labour and have never finished those books ), enjoy a nice long shower.

Sounds silly but maybe go and read some of the birth stories here- I seriously start getting contractions when I read them- maybe they stimulate something? I had to stop reading them last week. I have decided that after the grand final I will read every birth story that exists...LOL

I think there's actually something in that, I have heard snuggling newborns can do it too.

organic-girl, your body sounds more than ready to me, I bet you're holding your baby in a few days. Good advice from the others as hard as it is, try & relax & let go
