    What would this be?

So Im pretty sure labour has started, but am just curious as to what others think this may be.. (coming out of my vjj)
Is seems too light to be waters, but too heavy to be plug,
It fell out by itself while on the loo and has been coming out over the past few hours in streams.. it is a syrupy water, that is why I dont think its the waters as its a tad thicker.
And it is pink with lots of little chunks or flakes of dark blood.
Contractions are still a bit iregular (6-10 mins apart) but definantly there and happening.
    Thanks

Hmm I dunno, I would have thought it was your waters breaking? How excitement!!

    What do they smell like?

I agree with Arimeh. I think you should ring the hospital.

You might have a baby today!

Smells like period blood, not discharge, the hospital know and i go in at 12 if nothing happens before then.
I thought waters was water that came out in a 'gush' and there was lots of it, and it was clear?

Some women get a gush... others get a trickle. Others don't have their waters break until well after labour has begun.

As for being clear - for me it was pink, and I'm told that's fairly normal.

Not always, sometimes it can just trickle. Mine had a pinkish tinge to it.
