Why is it that i can buy a fit ball and it only costs me $25-$30 but if i buy a BIRTH ball it will cost me $70-$100? They're the exact same thing just with a different name!!
That's such a rip-off isn't it! I found the same thing with any labelled "baby". For example, a glasses brush in the dishwashing aisle was 1/3 of the price of the "baby bottle brush" in the baby aisle - only it was the exact same brush!!
And don't get me started on putting the word "wedding" before anything!
Yeah its the same thing with wedding. When we got our wedding cake we asked for a white mazapan iced mud cake and it was so much cheaper but looked exactly like a wedding cake!
haha i never even thought there was actual birth balls!! i just thought they were all fit balls!!
i poped mine 2 days before arquene was born i freaked!! but kmart had one for $15 it saved me!!
Hmmmpph! yes, the 'wedding' one still pees me a bit. We were real young and students and we had been given the name of someone who made the cake that we ate at a birthday party and loved. DH rang the lady and said we had tried her cake and and wanted it at our small wedding - just a modest sized one - how much would it cost? And she quoted over $300, which for the size we wanted and the small amount of money we had we couldnt afford it. I think DH asked her how much would it be just for the cake without any icing etc and she said it would still be the same price.
I`m certain the people who brought the birthday cake for the person who shared their cake with us would not have paid $300! And needless to say, we had to do with out the lovely cake, cause the cake maker wouldnt budge and so my MIL made one which was her trademark dry bland overcooked style
