I say do whatever helps relieve the pain at the time! Certain times through my labour i found the bath good but then later on i found just curling up in a ball and lying as still as possible.. i think at the time, youll work it out Best of luck!
Oh, I agree with the socks thing. This time I'm taking explorer socks. I'm also going to try the "preggie pops" - last time my labour was really long and they didn't want me to eat anything, but sucking on a preggie pop has got to be ok (and the sugar for energy would really help)
