So abit of background we started trying to have a bub a few yrs ago and it took me 4 years to even get pregnant once, i remember it being 3rd April 2007 my birthday and i did a test and surprise surprise i got a BFP i remember i just started shaking all over and then going out to DF and asking him to come with me we went into our bedroom and sat on the bed i picked up the box for the test and put the test underneath where it says 'positive' on the box and he was just as shocked/excited as i was but unfortently it ended in a MC at 11 weeks, we both cried in the hospital after being delivered that bad news
So fast forward a month after the MC and i was talking to my neighbor at the time who suggested i test again so i did and surprise surprise i got my second ever BFP well on the 2nd April 2008 i had my absolutely stunning little man but unfortently it wasnt a very good birth as i PPH afterwards loosing over half my body's blood....
Anyways moving onto the 1st May 2010 i tested again and got another BFP i showed DF when he come home for morning tea and he said dont fake things u drew that line on their didnt u having a joke with me and made me re-test in the morning with FMU to prove otherwise, so i did as he asked and another line appeared so he said OMG surprised it happend this time only after 12 months of trying this time around
Everything was going great until i git 12wks 5 days i then started to bleed so i headed into the hospital (half hour drive) and they did blood tests and an U/S and thankfully there was still a HB i remember my heart just dropping in relief as DF and i both were hoping it wasnt anther MC, so after that everything started going great again i was feeling bub move from just the night before i woke up bleeding which i instantly thought i only felt u moving last night, now this 
Due to my history with my first bub i wasnt allowed to labor at our local hospital as if this happened again they couldnt save me i would of had to be transferred so i just said id prefer to be safer then sorry and go to that hospital from the start, in doing this they put me into a 'case load program' which meant i had the one midwife through out my whole pregnancy and labor which i was completely overjoyed about as i hated having so many midwifes with my first and so did DH............All progressed extremely well until i hit 28wks and at a midwife appointment i remember her being a little concerned that my fundal height was measuring 1 week behind when up until then i was measuring spot on but she said not to worry just yet we will keep an eye on it, next appointment come and same thing still measuring a week behind after a few weeks i was due to have a U/S at 34/35 weeks due to having a low lying placenta so they did the scan and bub measured a week behind then a week later i was organised to have another scan we did this and bub still measured a week behind but they wanted to keep bub in there a little longer
In the meantime i was getting little white lines, protein in urine and getting really dizzy so my midwife started doing blood tests every appointment trying to see if i eas getting pre-eclampsia well all blood tests were coming back normal so she wasnt very concerned until i ended up in hospital with contractions which they wanted to just monitor me 'just in case' as i labored quickly with my first being induced they were sure i would labor quicker this time around, so we head in bub wasnt moving much so they put a drip in to boost my fluids and BAM bub started moving which they said i was dehydrated so was kept in hospital for 2 days.....That monday my mum come up to be here 'just incase' i went into labor early, so that following thursday (16th Dec 2010) i go in to see my midwife for an appointment and the team decided they were inducing me on the monday (20th Dec) as i was getting pre-eclampsia and they didnt want to take the risk anymore and if bub is as small as the U/S was showing they thought he might be better off out
My miwdwife asked if she could do a examination to check and see whats going on so i agreed to this and i was already 3cm dilated so she then asked if i agreed to a S&S which i did during this time i got a show and period like pain but still didnt hope anything was going to happen but my mum knew otherwise and kept telling me i would have a baby on saturday early hours in the morning between 4 and 5am, so i went to bed on the friday night at 11pm hoping and praying my mum was right and fair enough at midnight (mind u i didnt even get to sleep) i started having contractions and they kept getting stronger mum said ur in labor im like no i dont think so until they got to the point i couldnt walk properly so DF calls my midwife by this time its 1am and she says ill see you in half an hour we gets into the car to leave and on the way in (half hour drive to hospital) the car was vibrating and OMG im yelling at DF to drive SLOWER cause it hurts but then id yell at him and tell him to hurry up and get to hospital as i dont want this baby on the side of the road lol Poor bugger didnt know what to do he wasnt allowed to go over 80k's
So we get to the hospital at 2am meet up with my midwife head into the delivery suite and she does all her obs and asks to do an examination i agree yep 4cm dilated i thought WTF surely i thought i would have been further then this 
So she gives me a birthing ball and i sit on that infront of DF and rocked while he rubbed my back and cuddled and kissed me while also reminding me of how well i am coping and also telling me i can do this (this was extremely lovely as he wasnt much support with DS)
I then remember telling DF to go find my midwife as i was feeling like i needed to pee as she come in the room i stood up and GUSH out come my waters at 3:20am i remember my midwife saying right now ur waters have broken be prepared for your contractions to massive intenseify (sp) which she was absolutley right about WHOA!
At this time Midwife starts to panic as she has so much to organize and im laboring quite quickly i remember her saying geeze your not giving me much time to get things organised as i had to have a canula put in my hand just to be safe incase i PPH again (which all through my pregnancy i kept thinking positive that my body can do this i can birth naturally again and have an amazing experience no induction and no PPHing) while the woman was standing there tryin to put the canula im getting massive contractions and she was stuffing around and couldnt get it in i was ready to punch her out LOL so while breathing through contractions i managed to let her finish fiddling around and we got through it OK
After this it come about 4am and i climbed up onto the bed and midwife monitored bub for a couple minutes in this time im starting to cry and tell DH i cant do this anymore i just want bub out im over it already and he once again is telling me im doing a fantastuc job and it will be all over and done with soon while holding my hand and my midwife holding my other hand reassuring me as well so bck to being monitored bub was doing fine so she then asks to do a exam and i agree'd she then informs me i am 10cm dilated i am right to push whenever i feel ready to by this time i got extremely nervous more so then i have been throughout the whole experience so i push and out come his head which i remember my midwife yelling at me STOP DONT PUSH ANYMORE JUST HOLD IT THERE and im like WTF i cant just stop now but somehow i managed too and i looked down and saw his little head as she looked at me and said remember he had his unbilical cored wrapped around his neck loosely well now is the time to remove it she managed to get it off (as previous U/S confirmed he had this so she was prepared before i went into labor) and then told me to continue once again another big push and out comes my gorgeous little bub, i remember DF looking at me with tears in his eyes saying well he is definently a boy like the U/S confirmed i forgot so i looked down and cryed OMG he is a little boy!!
Once she cleaned him off a little just to warm him up she plaaced him up on my chest and we snuggled fr a couple mins then they wrapped him handed him to DF and then he was taken down to the nursery to go into a humidity crib where he stayed for a couple days due to not maintaining his own body temp
I cried to my midwife after bub and DF went down to the nursery cause i did it and all completely drug free and no PPh afterwards PLUS my OWN BODY DID IT ALL NATURALLY!! 
this whole experience is now making DF and I to have another one as my midwife has agreed to be my midwife again 
plus before the birth she met my DF which made him more relaxed previously meeting her, just really amazing this whole experience was
