How awesome! I love how relaxed you were about everything! What a great experience for your LO's, being there to see it all!
Welcome Beautiful Bubba!!!
Absolutely amazing!!! Thank you so much for sharing. You guys were a fantastic team with your little ones by your side. Your story brought tears to my eyes. You all should be proud of yourselves. Enjoy your newest addition xoxo
Wow! What an awesome labour and birth! So special that your little ones were there too. You did an amazing job. DH was pretty awesome too. Congratulations on another beautiful daughter.
Today I am walking around with the most massive smile on my face. I got exactly what I wanted and I am so proud of myself, my body and my husband for the amazing birth & baby we have.
I was told when I was pregnant with DD2 that my BMI was too high, I was too risky due to the amount of babies I have had and numerous other issues which prevented me having the planned home birth I had been told I could have through a government funded home birth clinic from 7 weeks. I was denied at 37 weeks and told in no uncertain terms that I would haemorrage and I risked losing mine and/or my babies life. I was a complete mess and scared in the end to even birth in the hospital, even though in the end her birth was near perfect.
This time my body & mind didn't want me to go to the hospital and I am so glad I listened. There is something magical about bringing a new life into the world in the same bed it was made in. My husband is amazing, not only did he support & guide me through the labour & delivery, he did it with our DD2 on his lap!
Lisa, I love, love, love, love, love, love, love that you finally got your home bith. Agreed, it wasn't supposed to be, but maybe it was? You know?
Lucinda is a truly beautiful name - it's just seems to suit you & your family.
I'm so happy you shared this beautiful story with us - well done Rob, you're a champ!!!
