I havent been on here for a LONG while.

my due date was july 29th.

My little darling thought it would be fun to give mummy period type pains from saturday (1st) to sunday.. i went in to get checked out on sat night.. nothing.. i was efaced and my crevix was long i was given sleeping pills and pain med and got a taxi home and feel asleep at midnight.. all day sunday the same thing pains here and there i was getting annoyed.

my mum had taken my son all weekend for me.

she took monday of work as did my partner, my partner decided we should go car shopping.. even though i was still getting pretty regular by this stage pains.. i called the hospital they said wait it out till it gets worse and closer together

So we found a car, went down to the shops to get the money out.. meanwhile im stopping every few minutes to double over in pain. the lady waiting for the ATM was quite nice waiting for my contraction to go away until i moved away from the machine.

I had a burger to eat and we drove back to the car place.. im sitting in the car.. when the get close and painful.. we leave my partner to buy the car sign the papers and met us at the hospital.

the drive there was pretty horrible.. cars + contractions = NIGHTMARE!! got there in about 20 mins..

walked up to the ward by myself midwife saw me.. BAM BAM BAM BAM 4 contractions before i even got to my room (FOUR away from the front doors) she tells me yup your staying here.. i have about ten more before DP arrives and im put on the moniter as im having a VBAC.. im checked and im 4 CMs.. i try the gas but it makes me need to vomit

so i try the breathing you see on tv.. it worked lol.

its about three by now so i have been having strong contractions for about 2.5 hours, im begging for a epi.. DP wont let me and my middi says well check you again 7 CM!!! i was extatic.. she suggested breaking my water which we did then i jumped on the bouncing ball next to the bed..

about twenty!! yes 20 minutes later i feel a sudden urge to push and not to stop..

she was ready to come out.. pushing her head out was so painful and long this part took about 40 mins to an hour.. i cheated and would stop halfway through a contraction.. (can you blame me lol)
her head poped out and MY GOSH the best feeling so much relief it was amazing.. then the rest of her came out, and DP told me she was a gorgeous little girl.
