well here goes i was booked in for a ceasar on thursday the 3rd of april so i got to the hospital at 6am on the thursday morning tired, hungry and thirsty (havent had any anything since midnite) to be told that my ceasar is booked for 2:50pm (after i was told it would be done before lunch time ) anyway i got set up in my room unpacked my bag and everything ready so me and dp are sitting in my room allday sorry dp slept in the chair allday lol (that will teach him to sit up till 2am lol) they made me have a shower get in the gown and wait well i was still waiting to go round at 3:30 so buzzed the nurse to find out whats happening she said that another lady was rushed in before me cause her bubs was in distress so mine is pushed back by a hr i though ok thats cool so at 5pm im stilllllllllllll waiting so i buzz again to have the nurse come in and tell me that they have cancelled it well that was it i lost it i was bawling my eyes out i was tired hadnt slept much i was hungry and thirsty after sitting there all day with nothing so the dr comes and see's me at 7:20 and say's we have rebooked you for sunday so be here at 6am and you will have your little girl by lunch time so off we go home ( me crying the whole way ) get back down there on sunday morning get booked in unpack my bag again lol get bloods taken have a shower get my gown on by this time its 8:30 the nurse cames in with dp's threate clothes and that drink thing and said they are coming to get you now so we get ready and wait.................... 12:30 comes and im still waiting for them to come and get me by this time dp has gone down stairs to get some thing to eat (bastard lol) comes back up and eats a curry pie in front of me while im sitting there straving so i finally try and get some sleep by this time its 1:45pm just start going to sleep and they come in and say right we are taking you now im like finally i have only been waiting since 8:30 so they take me round get to threate just after 2pm wait for them to find my surgoen he finally turns up at 2:25pm they tak me in give me morphine and a spinal block and bring dp in its 2:35 by this time so they start cutting and finally at 2:58pm my little princess is born and the first thing the surgoen say's is **** look at that hair lmao then dp and bubs go so she can be weighed and checked and i get stapled up and sent to recovery for bout 30 mins im back in my room by 3:45pm dp and bubs all ready there i give bubs her first fed the whole time trying not to spew (bloody morphine) so dp goes home to pick the boys up and bring them in i can hardly keep my eyes open im so sick everytime i moved or the bed was bumped i spewed was like that till 3am the next morning well that it sorry its long lol
OMG i would have had a hysterical fit if they made me wait all day then sent me home like that! Yikes! lol...at least when it finally happened it all went well (except for the morphine). Congratulations!
