what an amazing story, her maternal instinct must be so strong. how she didnt pass out on the first cut is amazing.
    bet she didnt complain either!!!
Its almost embarresing to think of the way that we (westerners) behave when it comes to pain or delivering babies...

I remember reading about this some time back.. Always wondered how she got on

It seems so far fetched though doesn't? Bu then as parents we do what we can to ensure our children are safe.. Isn't it called heroes adrenline or something along those line. you know when you hear or a parent lifting a car off thier child?

Anyways good on her.. and it is nice to see them both looking so healthy

how she didnt pass out on the first cut is amazing.
My guess would be pure adrenalin & fear for her baby did it. Notice how she passed out as soon as he was safe?

I think it's amazing that they don't mention infections etc (I'm sure they would wouldn't they...) yet myself and many others get infections in so called sterile hospital operating theaters.

Sarah, amazing she didn't get an infection especially as she punctured her bowel!!!
"Ram?rez was eventually taken to the local clinic, two and a half miles away, and then to the nearest hospital, eight hours away by car. Sixteen hours thereafter she underwent surgical repair of the incision site. On the seventh post-operative day, she underwent a second surgery to repair complications resulting from damage to her intestines incurred during her C-section. She was released from the hospital on the tenth day post-surgery, and went on to make a complete recovery" This was in the wik article about her.
