Can I ask what happens with the technical stuff? like how do you register the babies birth? etc
This is what I think is the hardest part! I sent off a birth registration with a stat dec from me saying I birthed a baby boy at such-and-such a place on such-and-such a date with so-and-so. Got a call from BDM last week asking for a stat dec from DP and also a letter from a Dr if I saw one during the pregnancy (I had but if I hadn't I was going to ask my chiro who I saw twice). So I have sent that off and I guess I just wait again. Fngers crossed we have a birth certificate this time next week.
