Welcome to BB!
Hi... I must be a new to BellyBelly....I don't know how to say if I write this down the 2 birth stories but ver short!I can't believe it.
I have 2 cute sons - Lachlan born in 2006 and Ethan born in 2008. A 16 months age gap.
1st birth story - Lachlan....I was about 39 weeks and 4 days pregnant on 8th December 2006 I had an appointment at hospital in the morning. A day before the 8th December I found there was a little bleeding which I was concerned. I told the doctor about that he wasn't aware of it. I was sent to the foetal monitor for an hour then the other doctor decided to came in and check on me for internal examination. I was freaked out that I was 4cm dilated already!I got the contractions which was began.
We came home from hospital to collect my stuff and drove back to hospital again. At 3.30pm my husband and I both entered into the emergency room for ready into labour as I was admitted. For 1 hour I was in emergency room until moved to the birth suite at that time I had drugs with pethedine.
Hours or so...I went to toilet because I felt needed the loo. I got a feeling that I had my water broke in toilet - it keeps avoiding the messy. Heh. I returned to the bed and lay back as relaxed. I dislike the nerve gas that I threw it away as dropped it. While my husband, the deaf interpreter and the midwife were there with me for my 1st time labour with my 1st child.
At 8.26pm I finally gave birth to a baby boy Lachlan after 5 hours labour. It wasn't the hard one. I had a easy labour. I received the 3 stitches after having episiotomy with vaginal birth. Lachlan was born 3 days early before the due on 11th December.
A year later Lachlan was 7 months old....there's the 2nd birth story. My husband and I decided to expect the number 2 on 5th May. By in February my husband and I got married. Then....I was nearly 9 months pregnant with number 2. On 24th April I dropped Lachlan off at daycare and I got home. I found the bleeding then I texted to my husband on sms for urgent. I rang the hospital for some concerns so they asked me to come to hospital for check as examination. My husband stopped working then came home and took me to hospital.
We waited for my turn and walked into the birth suite but the examination on me. But nothing wrong because I had an hour on foetal monitor. The nurse said there have some contractions by foetal monitor but I didn't feel anything yet. I was sent home with my husband for lunch. We picked Lachlan up from daycare and dropped him at his grandparents for a night as in case as emergency urgent. Later in afternoon I found more bleeding then back to hospital again but nothing wrong. An hour later I had an appointment for ultrasound then headed home for dinner.
At 5.45pm I feel the contractions started which was very strong pain. It was been repeated every 5 minutes in an hour. We finally left home to drive to hospital for ready into labour. At 6.40pm we walked into emergency area for admitted into labour. But I rushed myself to the toilet while my husband stand at the reception for me to admitted. My husband heard my voice being yapped that he knew something wrong that I feel the baby was coming at any minutes. He called the reception for urgent at the toilet room. They called via the announcer for urgent to get the nurses to come in.
The 2 nurses were with me in the toilet. My husband was outside the toilet....I feel the baby was coming. Until at 6.48pm I gave birth to another boy Ethan after under 5 minutes labour. My husband missed to see the birth scene because the toilet was too small with no space to room.
After Ethan's birth, I transferred to the maternity ward for checkup. I had no drugs, no stitches or no episiotomy because the labour was too short and too easy. Ethan was born 2 weeks early before the 5th May.
My husband and I can't believe how short. We told our families and friends about that and they went stroked.
That's the end....![]()

That was quick thanks so much for sharing.
Oh wow, they were super quick! I know it's sad your husband missed Ethan's birth.....but pretty funny that the reason was because toilet cubicles are too small!
Congrats on such uncomplicated births!
