Post-natal PE

Hi all, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I didn't develop it until 6 days after birth and had never heard of this occurring before.
Now I am on anti hypertensive medication. Just wondering when anyone who was on these types of drugs was allowed to stop taking them.

Ihad pe with my last pregnancy, and was medicated prior to having him, don't know much about the medicatinon side of things - sorry.

I have heard of PE occuring post nataly. I'm glad your BP is now controlled though.

I had BP medication for about 6 months post natal, if that helps.

Thanks Zoe and Welshgirl. I am seeing the nephrologist this week, so hopefully he will be able to tell me when I can stop the tabs.
