    18months, 12 days

Why is it such a complicated feeling?

I am happy and sad to announce that DD2 has self weaned as of last monday 16/5. That means that she b/fed for 18 months 12 days.

I am so happy that she is now my little big girl. Shes no longer the bubby because she doesnt have bubby juice anymore, as according to DD1.

But its such a bittersweet moment.

    Thanks ladies.

Yup, Manta it sure is bittersweet. With DD1 she weaned whilst I was pregnant with DD2. At the time I was excited she was growing up and she was getting ready to be a big girl. And I also knew that there was going to be another stage to breastfeeding, that I would get that with another child. This time round, although we want another baby, I suppose there is no guarantee that we will get that chance.
