My 7.5 month old has not been too interested in solids yet, but has been eating some for about a week (mainly rice cereal with pureed apple/carrot and some finger food). But the last three days he has refused all solids; have tried finger foods, rice cereal, oats, apple, carrot, broccoli, yoghurt and sweet potato. He pushes the spoon away and isn't even interested in feeding himself.
My question is, is this normal and should I keep offering him food once a day, or give it a rest and try again in a few days time?
Oh and i forgot to mention that he is fully BF and has about 5-6 feeds during the day and 1-2 during the night. He has his usual number of BF and seems to be his normal self...
DD is 11 months on Sunday and we're still fairly touch and go when it comes to solids. Most days she has a little bit of toast with daddy in the mornings, and one meal with me during the day - usually about 10 baby spoons worth. She still refuses solids a lot by pushing the spoon away or just wiping everything off the highchair if it's finger foods.
