    6 months BF!!!

    I am so unbelievably excited!!! Baby and I have reached another bf goal we are at 6 months
    I knew it might not be easy because I couldn't fb my first child but I had no idea that even when physically it was really easy for me this time how much of an emotional journey it is

    Looking forwards to reaching the next goals of 8 months, 10months, 1yr and onwards

    It really is exciting, isn't it? It's such a roller coaster of emotions, even without any physical difficulties, and six months is a long time. Yay!

    Thanks everyone lol one of my boobs celebrated last night by waking me at midnight all sore and lumpy ouch! Finally getting he lumps down now but still quite sore

    Dh annoying me he's so keen for me to wean her I was talking about continuing fb past one year and he said no you'll be weaning next month after Christmas
    He thinks it's too hard on my body and he hates how unsettled baby is and how she doesn't sleep through

    Sigh oh well I've managed to keep him at bay this long maybe I can keep managing to put it off

    Oh dear, if he thinks weaning will be a miracle cure to settle her or get her to sleep through.... I get that he's worried about it being hard on your body, but as long as you're eating enough and a healthy BF diet you should be fine.

    FWIW, once DS started enjoying solids, he BF less and my body started to look less like a skeleton

    Lol yeah my bmi is 18.6 I weigh 50kg so slightly underweight but that isn't unusual for me but I think he worries cause I have PND and I'm tired all the time and I think he's traumatized from last time I tried to bf ds and ended up in hospital but that was a combination of other things

    I see where he's coming from and it is wearing me out but this could be my last bubba and my only bf bubba so I'm not in a hurry to wean
    It is getting easier with her having a little bit of solids but she's not a fan yet
