Asprin and Breastfeeding a Toddler

I have a horrid head cold with a headache, sore ears and sinus. I have nothing else to take at the moment besides asprin (I will be going to the shops, but not for a few hours). Can I take it whist bfing DS2? He's 15mths old, but still feeds between 4-8 times in 24hrs. Plus he's a little sick too, so is not eating and is feeding more the last few days as well.
Can I take it? I so need some relief!

"aspirin is an ingredient in many pain relieving products. Occasional or low doses (such as for blood thinning therapy) are safe to take while breastfeeding. However, if taken in large doses, aspirin may pass into the breast milk and cause adverse effects in your baby".

So have a dose and then see if you can get to the shops - paracetamol and ibuprofen are considered better options for longer term use.
