I think toddler milk is a total gimmick, I kept my DD on the formula she was on at the time and then switched slowly to cows milk bub the time she was 14 mths old. Not sure of numbers but toddler milk is high in sugar as well so unless she has some sort of intolerance I would use cows milk!
Is he eating well? If so, he will get all he needs from actual food. toddler formula is unnecessary. You can give some milk - cows or other - as part of this diet. Basically, it's up to you and depends on where he's at in regards to eating. If he's still getting a lot of nutrition from breastmilk or formula, you may want to consider continuing that for the mean time. If on formula, you can gradually reduce the amount you give him as he eats more. If he's breastfeeding, he'll do that naturally on his own.
If child is eating well and otherwise healthy, cows milk (or breastmilk) is all they need from 1 year no need for toddler formula its just a money raiser.
Go the moo juice . Might help to slowly introduce the milk by making 3/4 formula (or ebm) and 1/4 milk, then half half, then 1/4 3/4, etc, until he is on all moo juice.
Thanks Girls. I did organic cow's milk for DD1 so looks like I'll do th same. DS is 1 in a week and I almost finished a tin, should I start the chagne over now?
I would go to cows milk.. My dd didn't go to well when 1st switching her over. We went back to the 6-12 mth formula for another tin, while introducing the cows milk.. By the end of that tin, all was good..
