I was wondering, maybe other have had experiences with this. I had one of my nipples pierced when I was younger, and removed it about 3 years ago. Now I'm trying to conceive, it just occurred to me whether or not having a pierced nipple affects whether you can breastfeed out of that breast anymore? Does anyone know? or has anyone ever had their nipples pierced (then removed later - and those who had, would know you get a bit of a deformed nipple aftewards), and what was breastfeeding like with that nipple.

I'm going to the doctor for my antenatal blood tests on the weekend, but would like to know other peoples experience with piercings.
