    Blister on Breast

Last night my right breast started to become itchy, not near the nipple or areola but underneath, I figured it was the scar tissue from my stretch marks playing up with my milk coming in since Chloe was born.

But today I noticed a blister about the size of a pea about 2 cm below my areola, its raised and has fluid and is red around and very itchy.

I will have to ring a dr tomorrow because it looks infected but has anyone else experienced this?

That sounds painful hun - does it hurt as well as itch?

How is Chloe going with breastfeeding? I wonder if her attachment might not quite be right. Is Amelia still feeding as well?

I suggest calling the ABA helpline on 1800 mum 2 mum (1800 686 2 686). It is a toll-free call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the counsellors are really lovely and very helpful. They can discuss the sore with you to find out more about what might be causing it, and assist with positioning etc if necessary.

GL hun, I hope it clears up quickly for you.
