    Diet when breastfeeding.....

Ok, I was pretty shocking at the beginning of this week with my diet. Sugary snacks were it for me basically.

Since jumping back on the wagon and being healthy, I've avoided all things sugar and have noticed a marked improvement in missy moo. She is sooooo settled, sleeping better and generally happier.

Is this linked? I am thinking so!!
Does anyone else notice any changes in their babies related to what they've eaten?

Absolutely! Makes perfect sense! They get a sample of everything we eat and drink. My diet is very good usually and quite varied so I haven't really noticed any major differences in DD while breastfeeding. I do recall her being extremely windy and uncomfortable when she was little after I'd eaten a lot of brocolli and cauliflower though. Poor little mite!

One of my good friends' little man is lactose intollerant so she had to eat a strict diet while BF as it really upset him (all dairy including chocolate!!)

I gave up dairy a while ago to see if it made a difference to her reflux (it didn't). Last week and the start of this week I ate quite a lot of chocolate and missy was hard to settle at nights (could also be a wonder week though). This week since being healthier she seems settled. It's too much of a coincidence!!

    Thanks mate

You're welcome! Have you got the book The Wonder Weeks? If not, get yourself a copy through Amazon. I think you'd love it
