Drink anyone?...

I'm on holidays for our anniversary at the whitsundays and I really feel like a ****tail

I'd love a midori splice! Is this ok?
I know some people 'pump n dump' but is this for a bender or one drink?
I'm happy to go without but if it safe enough one would be lurvly!

I drank alcohol when I was breastfeeding. My trick was to wait until just after a feed, when I expected not to have to feed for a few hours, and then have a drink. I never pumped and dumped, but then again I never had more than a couple of units in an evening and I think I was safe enough.

Alcohol leaves your breastmilk at a similar rate to your blood so you only need to pump and dump if you were missing a feed and wanted to express to maintain supply/avoid engorgement. If you were just having one drink I would suggest doing so immediately after a feed so there is the most time before the next feed for it to clear your system.

One is okay, if you are okay with it... I've drank a few times, although like Traveller didn't have to feed for a while after. Although one time ds did decide he wanted a feed as I was drinking... yep sitting there drinking vodka with a baby on boob

I wait until just after a feed too... Yesterday I had my first drink after A was born...
Don't know if it was that but we had a shocker of a night thou and all I had was one beer the after the next feed I had a baileys...
I have never pumped and dumped asi never drank loads
