What to do with old bottles?

I have a heap of bottles that I no longer use. Some of them are brand new and the others are in excellent condition.
Does anyone know of a charity that will take them? I have been told alot places like Salvo's and so on wont take them.
I live in Melbourne, I recall a women's refuge that may take them, I just can't remember the name.
I would rather give them to someone than throw them out.

    Thanks

I may be able to help, my Mum works with a women's refuge and they are always looking for things to help women starting out. If you don't find somewhere near you let me know.

Ooh, Kate (sorry to hijack your thread Heather), I have some baby bunny rugs, books and not what - can you please ask your mum if she wants them too before I drop them to the salvos?

I just remembered the name!! It's the Caroline Chisholm Society and their main base in Moonee Ponds. It's not a refuge as such, more of a support place.

Sweet! I am sure they would be able to find a home for them.

Failing the refuge not being able to take them, you could try your local native wildlife care group. I know we are always crying out for any donations!

Great idea! If Caroline Chisholm wont take them, that is a definite. It was something I would never had thought of.
