The funny/strange things you have done while having the bub on the boob

I don't really have many stories for now, as my Dd is nearly 1, and she is too heavy to carry around while on the boob, but I used to do all sorts of things while breastfeeding.

I walked around and picked my sone up from daycare and walked home again, all while having the bub on the boob.

I have made toast. (can be quite difficult)

I have also gotten dressed (well the bottom half anyway)

so what things have you done while breastfeeding?

Pretty much everything - including forgetting I was feeding so opening the front door to a delivery man. Then realising I couldn't sign for my delivery very well.

I'm only new to BF, but with DH away all the time for work I have gotten great at multi tasking whilst BF. I BF whilst sitting on the stool by the bath with DS1 having his bath & manage to wash his hair etc.

I BF whilst reading DS his stories before bed, this can be difficult with turning pages.

I even made him his milk bottle whilst BF the other night.

    Anything really!

    mmm

Walked around the shops bfing when she was nb

Helped organise, cook, decorate and run DD1's 6th bday party with DD2 on the boob

on the side of the freeway when DD2 just HAD to have a feed (bad timing on my behalf)

I'm sure there are others, DD2 would not wait ever for a feed and I learnt to feed with only one arm so I could do other things

Today - Walking around the supermarket pushing the trolley (with the baby capsule) only did an aisle and a half at about a third of my usual pace. Sat on a beanbag and ate salad which was not as easy as i had anticipated.

I was in the supermarket and had asked where I could feed my baby and they directed me to the baby changing room which had four massive bins full of pooey nappies and a change table, a sink and a random chair they must have taken from the cafe. I sat down and started feeding then thought 'damn this! This place is awful!!!!' So without taking him off the boob I left the room, waited and chatted with some other shoppers for the lift and walked to the supermarket cafe, all whilst baby was on the boob!! I then marched across the cafe and chose the cosiest sofa chairs and without buying anything I continued feeding him there! A man who was there with his toddler son actually brought me over the hot chocolate that his son had not wanted which was nice!

Other than that I have answered the front door to the postman and written posts on BB!!!

lol- boof is child number three- so plenty of times we have b/fed on the go including

    -walking around bunnings
-during my pilates class ( he then proceeded to fall asleep on my mat!!)
-whilst school assembly was on- DS proceeded to pull off half way through the feed and i accidently squirted the grade 6 kids sitting in front of me lol
    - at the national art gallery with 6 other BB members - no we were not part of the exhibition ( remember that guy LOL)
    - during my nan's funeral- i had to pull him off so i could do the eulolgy
-in the swimming pool during his swimming lesson
    - whilst having my eyebrows waxed!! Yep he couldnot wait and i was lying on the waxing table at the time
    - whilst having a shoulder massage- the poor chinese guy massaging me nearly had a heart attack when i dropped the puppies out- he didnt know where to look lol

    - and yes on the toilet- i was busting and it was too dangerous to leave him in bed by himself so i took him in my arms and the temptation was too much for him

As you can see he pretty much feeds whenever he can get to the boobs lol!!
