    Good news!

Well, not sure if you ladies can remember, but a couple of months ago I was stressing about my little man's weight gain. He was 4 weeks old and had only just gotten back to his birth weight. Had a lot of comments from irritating family, that i needed to put him on formula, because "he's a big boy! Your breastmilk obviously isn't enough"

Well, still fully breastfed, haven't caved into the comments (which mind you i STILL get) - Happy to announce that this week my little man Theo went in for his 4 month health check, and he is now 8.1kg!!!!! woohoo!! hehe! Which puts him on the 95percentile!!! Looks like my boobies aren't so bad afterall!!

The MCHN was stoked! She couldnt believe that he wasn't a formula baby!

Thank you for believing in me and my boobies! haha! So happy he is thriving so well

ps - now that he is so big, i have family commenting even more, that he needs formula even more so When will people believe and trust in the female body? hmph - but i guess thats a whole new thread!

    xx

Well done, hun, what an incredible justification for the way you've done things!

Clearly your DS trusts your boobies and knows just how to get them working best! Smarter already than some of your family members.

    Smile Well done!

Congratulations Telly Well done to you for persisting, you know what is best for your bub despite what other people have to say!

My DS was big at birth too and at his 4 month check recently, he was 8kilos also, fully breast fed. I was so proud of myself for doing so well with BF yet now all I hear is that he probably needs formula as he is so big...I know exactly how you feel

Keep up the great work, you should be so proud
