    BF'ing and AF

Not sure if this is entirely the right spot, because it's between 2 subjects?

Anyways, just wondering what pain killers i can take for AF that are ok in breastfeeding? Can I take naprogesic and nurofen? Because i know in pregnancy I couldn't? (not that I needed naprogesic, but more nurofen lol

    Thanks ladies!

    Hi,

The best thing to do when you have queries related to breastfeeding and medications is to ring one of the reliable drug information lines. One of the best is the Monash Medical Centre drug information line in Vic (though you can call from anywhere) Rodney Whyte is the Head Pharmacist - the number is 03 9594 2361.

nurofen is okay, and naprogesic is to be used with caution.. generally speaking, as long as you aren't using it all the time, and more than required, it should be okay

otherwise you can take panadeine and nurofen safely
