I tried to find an appropriate place for this thread and came to the conclusion that 'Breastfeeding' was more appropriate than 'Fashion' (which I couldn't find anyway), so here we are.

I'm finding myself frustrated that there is seemingly nothing breastfeeding friendly to wear that is 'nice'. I've got all the casual feeding tops & singlets from Kmart, Target & Big W, but I want some nice stuff I can wear out to places that call for a bit more than casual. There doesn't seem to be anything suitable that's 'nice' and doesn't flash your bits etc. I want dresses and winter tunics to wear with leggings etc. Can anyone help?

In the cooler months, I wear my breastfeeding singlets (Bonds, B2B, etc) under my normal tops so I can feed easily without getting cold or flashing too much skin. I tend to give up on dresses while BF unless I can easily slide a strap down or unbutton the front.

I bought quite a lot of maternity (and BF friendly) clothes from Bump Baby and Beyond which have been good. Otherwise, I too find my BF wardrobe quite boring and limiting.

There is a fair bit out there (online) if you are prepared to spend the $$$. Personally, most of it is just too exxy for me, but Dangerous Curves has some really lovely dresses, tunics and that sort of thing. Like I said though, you pay for the convenience

Are you crafty at all? Maybe you could look up a wrap tunic pattern and make it out of a stretchy material to make it breastfeeding friendly?

I just wear singlets under my normal clothes.
Ive had to change my style since kids, but Im working on mixing things up after this one arrives

I bought a wool dress with a v neck from ezibuy. The neck is deep and stretchy enough to get to my boobs

I've bought stuff from maternalove and angel maternity....all are great and I bought on sale so pretty economical.

I just wear singlets under my tops too, but I need to go winter shopping, so might look up some of the above. Now I find even the maternity stretchy tops cling just that bit too much to my damaged tummy, so I want to get some looser tops. Also easier to wear the singlets underneath!

I also have trouble finding things. They are all a bit boring the specific breastfeeding tops - I hvavr bought a lot of the singlet button up tops that are out at the moment and hopefully an wear these with cardigans during winter. I also has a few dresses that are a little stretchy so I can move one side.

I'll no checking the suggestions for some ideas as well!

I was just thinking of writing this myself.

I have a couple of knee length dresses that button down at the front with a BF singlet underneath, that I wear over leggings. I found them at a little one off clothing store their a Carolina Morgan brand and were only $25. I've just ordered some maxi dresses off eBay that are stretchy an look like I will be able to pull down the straps, they were $15 plus & $8 postage.

I just pull on the neckline of anything I want to buy to check if it will stretch far enough to pop out and feed Milly I don't think I own anything (aside from my bra) that is specifically made for breastfeeding mums...
