How many bottles of milk a day for a 13 month old?

Just want to know how many bottles of milk (cows) my DD should be drinking a day? at about 12 months I dropped the middle of the day bottle out as she wasnt drinking much of it most days (though sometimes drank it all) so she has one first thing in the morning (250mls) and drinks 200-250mls at night before bed.

A friend told me that 1 year olds should be having at least 600mls a day and 3 bottles so this has got me worried.

My DD drinks water throughout the day - would be about 250-500mls total water in a day.

    Thanks

Dont stress babe, so long as she's eating and drinking soemthing else its all good.
FWIW iz has a bottle b4 each nap, so if she only has one day nap she has 2 bottles (one at night too) but if she has a poo poo day and has 3 naps, then she has 4 bottles! but bottles are our trigger for sleepy time. if they werent i dnt know when she'd have a bottle!

dont' worry i think every kid is different. My 10 month old has 100ml during the day on a good day otherwise he crams all his milk into bedtime/overnight.

I had always thought that by 1 they should be having 1 to 2 bottles a day. but could be wrong.

what you are doing sounds about right

hun, i wouldnt worry too much bottles at this age arent as important as what they would of been prob 6 months before hand, i assume she is eating solids now so that also effects her wanting to drink milk which fills them up so if she is full she wont want that much of it 2 bottles of milk seems fine to me i was gonna say 2-3 bottles cause thats how my son was too...
relax n dont worry every kid is different n thats what makes them unique..

At about that age I think I dropped DD's lunchtime bottle, and since then she's had one in the morning (now it's a sippy cup with her breakfast) and one at night before she goes to bed. If she is having other dairy, like cheese, yoghurt etc then 2 bottles of milk a day should be enough.

Our little man is about 2 months older than your DD, and he has around 4 bottles still (one at 4am, one mid-morning, one mid-afternoon and one before bed). We are in the process of trying to drop the mid-morning one and he doesn't seem to mind not having it. To the best of my knowledge, none of my friends' or extended familys' kids who are the same age, are having nearly that amount and it had me worried at one stage. Now I realise that some of them like water instead (our little man doesn't care much for water) and others seem to be bigger eaters. Your little DD is eating solids and drinking heaps of water, which I would be very comfortable with if our little man was doing the same. I think as long as they are happy, not gaining or losing too much weight and still eating solids, you should continue to follow their lead and your instinct.

i saw CHN the other day and was worried Luke was having too much with 4 x 180-240ml bottles a day she said 100ml per kg at 12 mths so I guess at 13mths its not much different

Sorry to kinda hijack, but I am not sure how that works, Rach? So, for example, if my boy weighs 15kgs then that means 15 x 100ml = 1500ml. That is an awful lot of milk, but I am guessing that I have misunderstood what you are saying

My 13 1/2 month old has two sipper cups of cows milk. Usually around 200mL each. With breakfast and after dinner.
