I am wondering if i am giving her too much boobie?
She is currently on an average day
Big feed first thing on waking
small comfort feed before morning sleep
Decent one side feed after lunch
small other side feed before afternoon sleep
possibly a couple of comfort suckles between dinner bath and bed (trying to stretch her out for bed time)
then big feed before bed
She was waking a few times during the night but fingers crossed we have knocked that on the head but she was also comfort feeding during the night.
She wont take a dummy or bottle so boobie it is but she does drink loads of water from her cup.
She eats three meals and snacks but im worried im giving her too many milk feeds WDYT??
If she is happy and you are happy then all is well.
At that stage my DS would have 4 feeds on the days I worked and 7ish when I didn't.
She's eating a variety of foods and you're getting sleep now - you're doing a really good job.
At that "age" the number of feeds babies choose to have varies between a couple and ten!
Yay! Thanks ladies, I was worried but you have all put my mind at rest.
Im happy to feed her when she wants and forever long she decides that we will continue our breastfeeding journey.
She is the longest I have fed my kids (cause she actually lies still to drink ) so for as long as it works we will do it.
i could have written this post myself my DD is 15 mths and still going shes still feeding in the night aswell but as long as it works thats all that counts
