    Infacol for wind

Anyone have any thoughts on using Infacol for a windy 6 week old breast fed baby? Thank you!

    We used it, worked wonders.
Didn't need it as often as it suggests though, we used it maybe 1-2 times a day, not before EVERY feed as it seemed to last. The effects were obvious to see and see when it wore off, but it does work (well it did here).

I use gripe water which work the same way and I love it
I think the gripe water is more natural but I can be sure so dont quote me on it

Lime Slice - thanks for that - I was wondering if it had to be at every feed as that seems to be a bit much (although the dosage is so tiny, but so is bub).

Kat - the chemist mentioned gripe water and did say that it's more natural but I had already purchased the Infacol elsewhere (long story). I'm going to give the gripe water a try if the Infacol doesn't do the trick

We used infants friend, and then infacol. The infacol was great. Sam was bottle fed so we just popped some in each bottle, but another friend used it for her breastfed bub and also found it great.

We're using infacol & find it to be really good.
We have gripe water too which was $7 at Coles & is all natural, I use this on her dummy at night occasionally.

we have been using infacol from when DD was 10days old - on pharmacists advice....
she was on anti biotics on discharge from hospital and it caused issues with getting her wind up but the infacol as made a dramatic difference, she not only burps but farts a lot as well, which the paed said was great as its still her wind being released....

i acutally saw it on sale at safeway/woolworths for $7 a bottle on sunday

Infacol didn't work for us but Infants Friend was awesome - can just be a case of trying a couple to see what works for your bub as they don't all work for all bubs. Good luck!
