Just a quick qustion

ladies,

considering I breastfed for 22 months with DS, and had no problems at all breast-feeding with milk supply or attachment, does that mean next time.... They will work just as well or is every pregnancy, baby and breeding experience different?

I'm curious as I will breastfeeding again but if there any reason to worry that i won't be able to?

I would think each experience would be different just like each labor will be different.

Hopefully your chances are even better of having a successful breastfeeding experiences considering you have done well in the past... Good luck

i bf'd ds, but couldn't get dd to attatch at all, so she was formula fed from about 3 days. this was after having numerous middies and lc's in to help.

Every mother/baby pair is unique, so a good bfing experience first, second, or any time around doesn't necessarily guarantee it will be clear sailing. In saying that, however, you would have learnt a lot about bfing and have no doubt heard other experiences where mum had more challenges and that knowledge will give you a much greater advantage second time around. Not to mention the wealth of information that comes from BB. You would also know what support is available to you if you do encounter issues. Plus, you'd probably have ruled out supply issues or similar that might be physiological for mums.
