What is breastfed baby poo supposed to look like? Colour.... consistency. ... frequency?

DS2 pooed while I was changing his bum and it was kinda bubbly?? Not foamy. It was a bit of a farty/pooey explosion lol. Is this a sign he's not getting enough hindmilk? Or did he just airate his poo by farting?

Oh the glamour that is my life.

exclusive bf poos are runny, like mustard (i think...man so quickly we forget) could just be airating it...

I was going to suggest Googling as we had a brilliant photo chart at my hospital of the various poos of a breastfed baby. Thought I'd see if I can find it and just googled.... Why oh why did I do that?! My eyes have just been bombarded with hundreds of images of baby poo - mainly poosplosions delightfully captured on film by new parents What was I thinking?! PMSL

So um, yeah, don't Google and I think his poo sounds perfectly normal.

Sounds normal to me! I have examined many a poo with little bubbles in it!

lol.... thanks ladies! I thought I should check because he loves to cluster feed all evening before bed and I wondered if he wasn't emptying each breast. he's pretty relaxed though. So long as his mouth is full of boob lol
