    Breast pads in bed...

I HATE wearing breast pads to bed.
It's not the brand or anything it's that they move around and depending on which way I lay they are rarely actually over my nipple. ATM I don't bother with them but keep one next to the bed for the opposite side while I'm feeding

Just curious to see what other people do in bed to avoid the leaky mess???

I either wore a maternity bra or BF singlet to bed with my breast pads in. I had to wear them, especially at night, or I'd be soaking on both sides and right through the sheets in no time!

Target has BF crop tops which are meant to be great for sleeping in and keeping breast pads in place. I'll definitely be investing in a few next time!

Have a clean towel nearby and when the sheets get to wet, put down the towel and go back to sleep.

I did wear them, I hated it too. But bubs is 9 weeks old now and I don't need them anymore. No more leaking at night.

I wore bf tops to bed and they worked fine at keeping the breastpads in place. I used cloth ones, which didn't seem to move around much.
I do get what you are saying about just putting it in the 'opposite' side for the let-down. Whatever works!

For the first little while I wore a product called the "booby bib" which is basically a singlet top with something built into it to absorb the milk that leaks.

I found them to be ok but a bit of a nuisance when BF.

In the end I would just sleep topless with some towels and nappies under me.

i had a towel underneath me and a stack of face washers next to the bed. I would hold a face washer on the opposite side to feeding, and sometimes another under bub ( i was feeding lying down) when the milk would dribble out.

I had stacks of face washers all around the house in the early days.

I've done the face washers thing for when I was feeding at night, but I hadnt thought to sleep with them ther! Most nights I sleep in a Breastfeeding singlet but still find my nipple ends up here and the breastpad has gone on holidays somewhere else in he brashelf when the bf singlets are in the wash I just wear an ordinary shirt / singlet and fold a tea towel or hand towel folded in half length ways tucked under my armpits

Now that I think about it, I might try that in the bf singlet!

Face washer for the opposite boob and a towel/blanket/sheet under me to catch DS2's dribbles (we feed laying down).

I slept topless with towels on the bed. There was no point me using breast pads at night as I would soak through them. But wearing a bra to bed will hold them (the breast pads, and your boobs!) in place
Now when I'm feeding, I keep a pile of breast pads by the chair/bed and pop one in the opposite side.

I slept naked or topless, and kept a face washer between the pillows that I just threw on top of the non-feeding boob. Then in the morning, it was good for use as a spew rag.

Now I don't use anything, I don't leak anywhere near as much, because my supply has settled down.
