    Not into solids

My 6 month old started on solids when she was 5 months old. She then got really sick at 5 1/2 and went off her food altogether. She's better now, but still refusing to open her mouth at all, no matter what I try.. Don't know what to do but I'm pretty sure she needs more than just milk at thus age?

I think the saying goes "food is fun until they are one" Maybe check out the baby led solids threads which is all about offering "finger foods" and letting your child experience and experiment with food don't stress, milk will be fine for now!

Don't stress about solids, Don't offer any for a few weeks then try again, Try looking at baby led solids. And remember food is fun until they are one!!!!

Milk is there main nutrition until 1.

My DS1 started at 6 months really well for 2 or 3 weeks then stopped wanting any, I kept offering for 1 week then stopped for 2 weeks did not offer any solids and then re commenced and all was good.

Exactly what I was going to write! We love baby led solids in our house and Shayla just started. She's loving her cucumber sticks at the moment. Hmmm, might try her with something new today
