Not much wee? When to worry? 7.5 month old

Today my DD between 7:00 AM and 18:30PM has had 3 dirty nappies and two slightly damp ones (using cloth nappies so could see that the dirty ones were not that damp and one of the slightly damp was one she had had on overnight!) - + 1 slightly damp towel from nappy free time. This doesn't seem very much compared to normal and I think yesterday there was also less wee than normal. The dirty nappies look much the same as normal. Is this something to worry about, if she seems to be weeing this much less tomorrow should I take her to the docs? She is bf approx 3 hourly between 7:00AM and 7:00PM and doesn't wake for a feed overnight, normally has about 50ml of EBM each night too (just to keep used to bottle) with 2/3 solid meals a day (BLS I am not sure she swallows huge amounts) and takes a little bit of water. She seems fine, but something was up with her on Tuesday as she was a bit lethargic and running a temp of 38.8 which went down of its own accord overnight and has seemed fine since.

She seems to be feeding fine, so I think she is getting enough in - but just not much is coming out? Could she just be rehydrating after the hot weather and the being ill? Is there anything else I should be on the look out for? She has had dryish nappies before but they always were followed by a really really wet one but that just hasn't happened today.

If she's able to feed on demand, which it sounds like she is, she'll be fine. Don't forget that now she is on solids you can offer her some water from a cup too

It's really great that you noticed the change and are checking up on it early.

I agree with Barb that she sounds like she is doing very well. I think you would have noticed if she was dehydrated. The wee gets very dark and smelly, and particularly in a cloth nappy I think you'd know. Other signs that you can look out for are the skin and eyes. If she has bright eyes and her skin tone is good (the skin should bounce back when pinched) then she's fine.

It might just have been her using more in the heat.

I agree, could be the heat, although the temp of 38.8 is a bit suspicious. I would be watching her cloisely for the next couple of days to see if she gets sick.

Thx for the replies - this morning her overnight nappy was nice and wet and normal looking - so will keep an eye but think maybe yesterday just an anomaly.

Only just caught up with this, Vic. I am glad things are ok!
