    off his milk

    ok well since DS has been on solids he keeps going off his bottles he has 2-3 meals a day but hes only having 3 200ml bottles and hes leaving about 100ml in total at the end of the dy this means hes only having 500mls a day i'm just sorta scared hes not getting enough food and the food he has cereal in the morning and vegies, pasta for lunch and dinner and hot chips he loves them is this normal also it could be coz hes teething but when hes having his bottle he doesnt get upset he just has a little drink and then smiles at me then just plays with it im so confused and worried he isnt getting enough and i think hes not getting enough liquid intake but he wont drink water or anything else during the day

    Babies do often drop their milk intake at around that age. From what you describe he doesn't seem thirsty, so he must be getting what he needs. A baby is not having enough to drink will have dark, smelly wee and not much of it, and will most likely be very unsettled.

    How are you offering the water? If you are using a sippy cup, perhaps a straw cup might be more successful? It doesn't matter if he won't drink it now, but it would be good for him to be able to drink it when he does need it.

    well theres less wee than before but its not dark or smelly and hes happy as usual he gets the water in a bottle but he only ever has 10 to 20 mls at a time was just worried hes not getting enough
