    question about prawns and mercury???

Hi, DH is about to cook me a yummy dinner (WOOOHOOO!) but he wants to make me prawns AND orange roughy fish. I know Its ok to eat orange roughy when BF as long as i don't eat any other fish this week but does that include prawns? Do prawns contain mercury?
    Thanks ladies

Mercury level are normally higher in deep sea fish like sea perch/orange roughy. swordfish, fish that generally live longer and eat lots of other fish, higher up the food chain.

Prawns are at the low end for mercury levels and should be fine.

Thanks guys, i had the orange roughy and it was yum yum yum! Dh cooked it up with lost of garlic (thankfully garlic doesn't effect DS phew)
Decided not to have the prawns though, i figured the fish + prawns might add up to too much mercury. I wasn't too sure about eating the fish but Dh persuaded me plus i've read that its ok to have orange roughy as long as i don't eat any more fish this week (its written on a little card i got when i booked into the hossy so i guess it must be right).

I've got some killer garlic breath now though...poooooweeeee!
