    Storing sterilised bottles & pumps

    Hi,

I have a microwave steriliser - once I have sterilised a bottle or breast pump how do I store them? Do I need to air dry them first before storing them in a container? Is it ok to leave them out to air or does this defeat the purpose of sterilising them? Any suggestions on the process would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Good news! You don't have to sterilise anything at all when you are breastfeeding. You just need to rinse in cold water (to get the milk film off) hot soapy wash then rinse again!
