Study and breastfeeding

So I will be going to TAFE 2 days a week as of February and im just wanting to know.....supply....it cant disapear within 2 days can it? Two days in a row i will be attending and will not be breastfeeding nor expressing in that time. DS will have hes morning feed and his night feed/s in that time but otherwise nothing but a little goats milk while im away.

Silly question i know seeing as hes already 1 but the days that im not at tafe my supply should be the same during the day?

I'd say it would be fine. i went away for a few days when DD was still BF as a young toddler and we started back up with no problems. i guess if you do feel concerned bring a small handpump and do a pump and dump once a day...(i have done that when i was studying and couldnt get away in time...but DD was a little baby at that time so supply was crucial ITMS).

also i guess that when you get home get him to have a couple of extra 'welcome home' feeds

fenugreek tea also helps supply...

Short answer (in my case) is no - supply will be ok... will explain more later x

It might decrease, it might not. You will probably find you need to express at least for comfort while you're away. But are you home after TAFE, or are you away from DS for the whole two days? You can certainly bf him before and after if you're only away during the day and that shouldn't have too much effect on your supply.
