What age do they drop a feed??

    Hello lovely ladies!!

    Quick question.
My 8 month old seems uninterested in his midday feed. I forget at what age they try to drop one? I an giving sippy cup if refusing breast.....

    Thanks

Sam dropped back on constant feeding around 9 months when I started offering him water in a straw cup.
The last week or so he's cut back drastically during the day - I even rang the ABA for the first time the other night because I was worried he was weaning.

Ide say just go with it. He will might pick it back up again when they weather gets warmer. Is he eating solids? Remember to always offer the breast before any solids meal.

It's swings and roundabouts very often. It might be that he's dropping back, or maybe he's just less interestd right now for some reason or other.
You might want to try not offering the cup if you think that may be affecting the number of feeds he's having. They don't actually need the extra fluids if breastfeeding on demand.

DD2 is 9 months and has just dropped one of her feeds - but on rare occasions she still wants it - so just go with the flow I guess
