    Urgent Help! pump

Ok so i just sat and expressed off 100ml while skimming through bb then noticed that i could feel and see the milk pumping but not coming down into the bottle! then a strange noise?

the milk was pumping into the motor of the pump as ther was a kink in the suction tube!!! should i throw out the milk i collected? this suction tube is from the hospital and essentially the milk that fel back down would have gone in it and/or the motor! i just worry about bacteria.

now my pump is making strange noises, has anone had this? how will i fix the pump?

I wouldn't use the milk and I know how heartbreaking it can be to throw it out , as it has left the "clean" environment, IYKWIM.

Pour out any milk that is around the pump and just let it dry, don't turn it on until everything is completley dry and see what happens, I would wash it or anything as it might make it worse.

Can you get a new piece of tube, which pump is it?
    Take care xxoo

Thanks, i just looked up on the web site and it does tell you what to do if the milk backs up to the motor, so i just completed the steps and hope it hasnt effected my pump! the milk is going dow the sink as we speak! but for the best.

pray my pump continues to work (esp as its SIL's!)
