So I weaned my ds about 6 weeks ago and over the last few weeks I've still had some milk there when I squeeze my nipples. No suprise however, tonight when I did the same the stuff that came out was real thick and slightly sticky and wasn't sweet like breastmilk! Anyone got any clues as to what it might be?
I still have milk 17 months after finishing breastfeeding so don't expect it to go away too quickly!!
Last night I slept so awkwardly that I leaked because of the pressure on my boob. Ahh I can only dream of colostrum, that would mean it's more like being gone!
Don't squeeze!
chances are you wouldn't know it was there if you didn't squeeze. It's normal.
Stimulation of the breasts, such as expressing, or stimulation - perhaps through lovemaking can prolong the production of milk.
