When I lay her down and she sees that I'm adjusting my top, she turns her head and opens her mouth ready and waiting

I also love watching my sister feed her 5 mnth old bub, love that she does it anywhere and you wouldn't even know.

that I can pop out my boob, and my 2yo will let me sleep an extra 30 mins or so, as long as she has her 'bees'
Portable, free, easy (now! It was a struggle to start with, but we got there in the end)

I love this thread! We have a 5 month old son, who I absolutely love feeding. Many of the little things I love have already been mentioned - how his eyes briefly roll back when he attaches, the instant calming effect feeding has on him, how his little hands stroke my chest or around my waist, all so precious. I love the little smiles you get as well - he'll stop feeding, look up and grin and then get back to business! Before I had him I was hoping to make it to 6 months feeding and now I know I will easily surpass that mark, I won't be giving this up for a little while yet

I love that it makes her feel comforted and safe.

I love her style when feeding. Chin moving. Eyes fluttering. One hand on me and one covering her eye with her pinky out. Tiny little sounds. Sometimes pulling off to smile, milk running out of her mouth.

I love that I don't have to pack anything, if she gets hungry I always have my boob

I love that it's our time and I don't have to share it with anyone else.

I love how it makes me feel. Proud. As Carly also said I had a goal of 6months, while I'm not there yet I don't see myself stopping anytime after that.

That he now tries to pull the boobs out when he wants a feed, anywhere (even at the shops!). I find it HILARIOUS! Others seem a bit mortified, especially when I then say to DS "You want some boobies?" And he giggles like a madman
And I love taking the time out to feed him, especially if he is in a grumpy/upset mood. I love feeling him relax and forget whatever was bothering him and the zoned out milk drunk look he gets. And then coming off and is all happy again.

Another funny thing I love is when he comes off and squeezes them to watch the milk squirt out and gets beside himself with laughter

What a gorgeous thread, as my bubs was prem it took eight weeks to get him fully breastfed. A few tears & a lot of hard work he is a boobie monster! Loves a cuddle & a feed. My fave part is when he puts his fingers on my lips for kisses & the beautiful bond it creates. So glad I persisted, it's the most precious time.
