What age to swap from bottle to sippa cup (for formula)

as the title suggests, i am thinking of taking my (almost) 20 month old off bottles and giving her some kind of sippa cup instead, i think she's too old for a bottle and wondering if its too early to do so?
Also which sippa cup brand is best?
    Thanks ladies

It is recommended to do this at 12m.

    I like the nuby ones

    Love MN ;-)

The earlier the better So yep now would be a good time. I used Nuby and Avent. Just need to see which one she likes best.

We have just weaned our 20 month old from all of his bottles onto one sippy cup before bed. He's had no issues at all. I just bought woolworths sippy cups.

Thanks for all your help girls
So i went and got 2 sippy cups (pretty sure they're the woolworths ones you mentioned mumof2boys, except i got them from bigw)
She's accepting them ok, except that she's having trouble drinking them lying down, coz the milk covers the airhole. I tried to make her sit up on the couch with me and drink it sitting up last night but she has her routine (lays down on the floor on her little fold out kids couch before going to sleep) and this morning she only drank half of it, is that because she's struggeling to get any out? (about 8 times out of 10 she drinks all of her milk in the morning)
is it just one of those things that she will get used to?
thanks again for your help girls xx
