Completely normal - your breasts have worked out what they're doing and how much milk to make. You might find that if DD has a big sleep your breasts become hard again.
Hey,
I'm just wondering about my supply. I know that it must be ok, as missy feeds well and is happy, healthy and alert. BUT, my breasts feel really really soft all the time and they are also smaller than they were.
I know it probably means nothing but can someone reassure me of this?
I know I'm being stupid.
Thanks

Hi,
You've answered your own question - you know it's normal! Your breasts are working beautifully, still, it's worth asking the question as this is something many mums worry about
Thanks guys, you're right Barb, it's all I needed to hear

yep supply and demand has worked itself out and your breasts know what is required of themYour doing a great job!
You are doing really well - and you should have comfy boobs by now.
Just an advance warning though - over the next few weeks you may find that there are a few days when missy feeds most of the time and it seems as though your supply has dropped. This happens to many Mums of 4-5 month old bubs (I was on the phone to the ABA concerned about my supply even though I usually had oversupply issues). Your supply won't have dropped, your bub will just be growing and asking for more - and if you feed her when she wants it over those few days you will make more in response.
Yeah, I found that last week actually. Missy fed ALL DAY one day and then slept the next few days - growth spurt!!!
Thanks hun xxxx
