Relactation after 2 months

I Have an 11 month old DD with health issues that I had to stop Bf at 9 months. Now the stupid pead is saying there is nothing wrong grrrrrr and I want to know about relactation. would a nipple shield be best. plus expessing. I would realy like to give this a go

I wanted to relactate & I got some info from the MCHN, otherwise what about calling the ABA? They might be able to talk you over the phone about it.

Do you still have any milk at all? If you do then frequent sucking is the key here - either by baby or by pump.
You may also need some medication - the two main ones are motilium and maxalon, with motilium usually more effective.
Don't reduce your baby's other feeds until you have some idea of what you are making - just add extra breastfeeds into your day.
